2024 is certainly marching on and as promised in our last newsletter, great things are happening in the economic development space in the Lismore LGA.

It’s been great to connect with many of you already this year and we look forward to meeting you at our next event.

Lismore City Council, in partnership with Richmond Valley Council, now invites you to our next Business Education Workshop:

NRRT Cycle Economy, Thursday, 4 March, 7.30am-9am, Gordon Pavilion, Oakes Oval, 144 Magellan St, Lismore.

Over a delicious breakfast, discover how to leverage the upcoming Lismore to Bentley section of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail for marketing opportunities and to bolster sales for your business.

You’ll hear from Rowan Lamont, Blue Sky Trails, to learn:

  • about the types of people coming to enjoy the new rail trail and the experiences they are seeking
  • how to adapt your business to this opportunity and appeal to new markets
  • how to identify new business opportunities.

The workshop is open to all businesses across the local government area, not just those within proximity of the trail. Join us at Lismore’s newest conference and event facility, the Gordon Pavilion.

Registrations are essential.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you at this exciting workshop!

Wishing you a very happy Easter and fingers crossed the Easter Bilby leaves a special delivery at your place.
