How you can get involved with Council's policy development

Lismore City Council is committed to open government and encourages public participation in decision-making.

To facilitate this, the Council has established several mechanisms for public involvement.

Public question time is held at Council meetings for 15 minutes and speakers are limited to four minutes during the public access session held before the meetings.

Council meetings are advertised on the Council's website.

Council business papers are available for public viewing at Council offices, online, and at various locations such as the Lismore City Library.

Council is also required to advertise proposals and call for public comment through Local Matters.
