Special Business After Hours Event

Council continued its most extensive community engagement process in Lismore’s history last month, hosting a special Vision and Blueprint Business After Hours Event at the newly refurbished Gordon Pavilion.

Attended by over 80 business representatives, as well as Councillors and staff, it was fantastic to see the enthusiastic participation by businesses to reimagine Lismore.

This event highlighted Council’s commitment to working closely with the business community and the wider community to ensure their views and perspectives are heard and integrated into the future of Lismore.

A vision and blueprint for the future of Lismore will establish a clear direction for the community while developing a series of environmental, social and economic strategies to create a more resilient and sustainable city. The work will be informed by the community and by technical specialists and advisors.

All business owners and community members are encouraged to have their voice heard by going to www.lismorenow.com.au and completing the online survey. Further engagement events will be promoted regularly throughout the extensive engagement period.
