Demolition and replacement.

Temporary public toilets have now been installed alongside Lismore Train Station in South Lismore, as work progresses on the construction of a new amenities block.

Open during daylight hours, the toilets are accessible via the Rail Trail car park and a path from the zebra crossing on Union Street. When complete, the facility will contain six unisex, two ambulant and one wheelchair accessible toilet.

Jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments, this project is one of 23 facilities across the LGA being upgraded under the Public Amenities Resilience Upgrades program. It is part of the Council’s broader effort to maintain and improve amenities at parks and rest stops for the benefit of locals and visitors alike.

We thank the community for its patience as we undertake this essential upgrade.
