The Lightbox Lane Public Art Program is a biannual initiative transforming Lightbox Lane in Lismore into a vibrant, evolving gallery of illuminated artworks. This program showcases local artistic talent, celebrates cultural identity, and fosters community connection through public art.
Safer Cities: Her Way
Lismore City Council is committed to enhancing our CBD as a safe and welcoming environment for all. We were thrilled to announce our participation in the Safer Cities: Her Way Program, a collaborative initiative between Transport for NSW and 10 pilot councils across NSW, including Lismore in 2024. This program delivered demonstration projects focused on improving safety for women, girls and gender-diverse individuals in public spaces and transport hubs.
