Flood Restoration Portfolio

Established following the 2022 floods, the Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) is a dedicated Lismore City Council initiative working to rebuild, restore and strengthen community assets and infrastructure.

Its remit encompasses roads, bridges and landslips; sporting venues, cultural hubs and community facilities; water and wastewater systems; and key flood resilience infrastructure, such as levee systems and drainage infrastructure.

At the heart of the Flood Restoration Portfolio is a social contract with the people of Lismore, emphasising transparency, accountability, and responsible management. Sustainable practices are central to our efforts, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.

By integrating local input, investing in workforce development, and utilising proven technology, the Flood Restoration Portfolio not only addresses the immediate needs arising from the floods but also lays a solid foundation for a stronger, more resilient Lismore.

What's happening in your area

To help residents and visitors understand the planned impacts and timing of works, Council has developed an interactive online schedule and map, allowing users to easily view locations and proposed start and completion dates.

It's recommended to view this on desktop, not mobile.
