Lismore Finalists Celebrated in 2023 NSW Business Awards
Published on 06 September 2023
Lismore City Council congratulates the 2023 finalists announced today in the Business NSW, Northern Rivers Regional Business Awards.
The awards recognise the innovation, resilience and dedication of businesses across the region, and this year, the number of Lismore businesses has dominated the finalist line-up.
Lismore Mayor Steve Krieg congratulated all the finalists.
“I would like to congratulate and thank all the finalists. Not only have they re-established their businesses after the worst natural disaster in Australia’s recorded history, but they have done it in truly innovative ways,” he said.
Lismore City Council’s Manager Destination and Economy Tina Irish said Council was extremely proud of the local Lismore businesses recognised in this year’s awards.
“They’ve all worked so hard to establish and build stand-out offerings, with many affected by last year’s natural disaster. It really shows how Lismore is coming back, and these businesses are truly encapsulating resilience and dedication to our community.
“If you haven’t found yourself within the walls of these amazing establishments, get yourself out amongst it and explore what Lismore has to offer.”
