Spring season promotional banner on a pole

With Spring now in the air, the latest batch of colourful CBD banners are being strung throughout Lismore over the next couple of days to promote signature seasonal events as we encourage locals and visitors alike to return to the CBD.

The banners will feature iconic events like the Back Lismore Show and Metroll Lismore Cup 2023, plus celebrate our local Widjabul/Wia-bal Country and Bundjalung culture.

Lismore City Mayor Steve Krieg said the banners will bring life and colour to Lismore.

“Our city has so much to offer, and it’s time we start singing it from the rooftops,” he said.

“With more local businesses re-opening daily, we want to attract people back into the CBD and greater Lismore to support those businesses.

“These banners are a great way of letting tourists know what’s on offer and to remind locals that despite the natural disaster, Lismore is still the best place in the world to live and raise a family.”

The banners are now up around the Block, with others to be hung over the next week.

The Spring series of banners will feature:
