To ensure the long-term preservation of the site, a maintenance and rehabilitation program is in place.
Burials at the Bushland Cemetery are GPS marked and may be memorialized with a natural stone and plaque, a stone, or no marker at all.
Only biodegradable coffins made of materials such as plantation pine, recycled cardboard, or woven wicker are allowed in the cemetery.
