About LOLA - Laneways of Lismore Arts Festival

LOLA is a free community festival that celebrates both internationally acclaimed and local artists and musicians. Happening on Saturday, 23 August 2025, from 1pm to 9pm, the event will transform Lismore’s laneways into a vibrant, creative playground.  The festival will feature a dynamic line-up of national and international talent, immersive light installations, live music, DJ performances, a dazzling LED main stage, interactive workshops, family-friendly activities, vintage and makers markets, delicious food and bars. With an anticipated 10,000 visitors to the event, it is the event to showcase your business. 

Business Engagement Expression of Interest

We're inviting all nearby businesses to: 

  • Stay open late to take advantage of increased foot traffic
  • Offer street trading, dining or product displays on the footpath (Lismore City Council can assist with required approvals)
  • Create your own activation within your business premises

Participating businesses will benefit from tailored support provided by Lismore City Council’s Destination and Economy team, making it easy to activate your space and get involved. We’ll help streamline any required Council approvals to support your activation on the day.

You'll also be included in our promotional campaign in the lead-up to the festival, with opportunities to feature in social media and marketing content that showcases your business — especially those located outside the main festival zone. It's a great way to boost visibility, attract foot traffic, and align your brand with one of Lismore’s most vibrant cultural events.

"Maker's Market" Market Stallholder Expression of Interest

Lismore City Council invites you to join us as local artisans, makers and designers, vinyl record vendors, vintage sellers, bric-a-brac and food and beverage vendors of Lismore and surrounding areas to transform Lismore's laneways into a vibrant creative playground. There is limited market space available at the festival therefore Lismore City Council reserves the right to select market vendors that best suit the event.

Performers and Artists Expression of Interest

Lismore City Council invites expressions of interest from local performers and artists from Lismore and surrounding areas to transform Lismore's laneways into a vibrant creative playground.  The event time is between 1pm and 9pm with locations established throughout the festival space.
