Wastewater Management
The East Lismore Sewage Treatment Plant provides wastewater management for a significant portion of Lismore City’s population and suffered extensive damage in the 2022 floods. A new, modern plant will be built with improved flood resilience and increased capacity to meet Lismore's long-term requirements.
The South Lismore Sewage Treatment Plant was also damaged. The affected infrastructure will be repaired and upgraded, to make it more flood-resilient.
