Lost or found animals

If you have lost a cat or dog, contact the Customer Contact Centre at (02) 6625 0500 with the animal's microchip number and a description of the pet.

Also check with local veterinary clinics, as found or injured animals are often taken there, and consider using local radio stations' "lost and found" announcements.

If you have found an animal, do not approach it if it is aggressive, and try to contain it if it is not wearing any identification.

If the animal is wearing a collar with an identification tag, use the information on the tag to try to locate the owner.
