For the ninth year, Northern Rivers Food proudly presents the Harvest Festival - a month-long celebration of the region's unique food culture, stunning landscapes, and vibrant community spirit. Throughout the Festival in May, enjoy a range of unforgettable experiences including farm tours, tastings, hands-on cooking demonstrations, workshops, and meet-the-maker sessions. Meet celebrity chef Paul West, of River Cottage Australia cult TV fame at several events, and discover the region's best-kept culinary secrets.

On Saturday and Sunday, 10-11 May, the Festival shifts its focus to the Lismore, Kyogle and Richmond Valley region. Join us on the Saturday night for a spectacular dinner under the stars at Windara, with live music and a divine menu showcasing the finest local produce.

Join us under the stars for an unforgettable evening at Windara, Casino, on Saturday, May 10, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. One of our Harvest Festival main events, this exclusive long-table dinner features exquisite dishes by The Secret Chef (Café Sydney and Longrain) and Wild Soul Bakery, showcasing the freshest local ingredients from talented, local producers.

Indulge in a specially crafted menu, featuring:

• Canapés: Richmond Mushrooms mushroom arancini, Nimbin Valley Dairy goats cheese crostini, and McKees Hill beef skewers
• Shared mains: Cromwell farm pork belly with Davidson plum sauce and Southern fried chicken with flamed corn
• Sides: Duck fat potatoes, Five Sixty Farms honey-glazed carrots, and baby salad leaf with salted celery and parmesan
• Dessert: A sweet treat featuring locally sourced macadamias and blueberries

The dinner includes a welcome cocktail created by local Bunker Distillery and will be accompanied by a selection of drinks available for purchase including beer, wine, and spirits.

While savouring your delicious meal under the stars, vibe along to the music of wildly popular local folk and bluegrass band, The Hillbilly Skanks.
