Tucki Tucki Footbridge – Project Update and Site Safety

During the footbridge decking renewal works, additional structural issues were identified that require further investigation beyond the original project scope. Council is undertaking further engineering assessments to establish the current condition of the bridge and determine the most appropriate long-term solution. Therefore, renewal works will remain on hold pending further structural assessment.

The footbridge is closed while investigations are underway. Due to the height and condition of the structure, the area is considered unsafe for public access. Temporary fencing has been installed to prevent entry. For your safety, please do not climb over or around the temporary fencing or attempt to access or climb on the bridge or any associated structures.

Council will review the outcomes of the engineering assessments before determining the next steps for the footbridge.
