Dog-friendly parks and areas

There are three designated off-leash areas for dogs in the Lismore Local Government Area:

  • Elizabeth Park;
  • a designated fenced dog area near the Wilsons River in Riverside Park; and
  • Hepburn Park in Goonellabah.

Dogs are also welcome if on-leash in Riverside Park and on the Nimbin Rainbow Walk.

Dogs should be under control while using these areas. 

Please consider other people using the area by ensuring your dog is not a nuisance or an annoyance to other users and their pets. And always remember to scoop their poop before you go!
