Skyline Road Koala Fence Repair

Strategic purpose The repairs were intended to help ensure koala and driver safety

Council engaged a fencing contractor to repair the Koala Exclusion Fence along Skyline Road, Monaltrie.

The project commenced on Monday, 20 February, 2023 and took three weeks to complete.

Works involved:

  • the removal and disposal of grass, vine, and woody weeds growing onto the fence;
  • the removal and disposal of existing damaged areas of fencing;
  • installing new fencing to rectify instances of fence wire slumping, holes and damage; and
  • realigning or patching up gaps on slipped or damaged gates.
