New Visitor Guide launched for Lismore and Nimbin

Friday, 01 September 2017

Lismore City Council has launched its new Visitor Guide for Lismore and Nimbin.

“A lot has changed since we produced the previous version two years ago – we have new sites, new products and new events that we need to showcase,” Visitor Services Coordinator Andrew Walker said.

“In the guides you will find a plethora of information on topics ranging from shopping, dining and accommodation to walking trails, scenic drives, festivals, events and markets – all the best that our region has to offer.”

While the guide is designed for visitors, residents will find it useful too.

“We have locals coming into our Visitor Information Centres saying that they have friends or relatives coming to visit and they want advice on where to take them or what to do,” he explained.

“They are often amazed at some of the treasures we have right here that they weren’t even aware of.”

Over 40,000 copies of the guide will be distributed to local, regional and interstate Visitor Information Centres as well as airports, accommodation providers and village stores.

The guide is also available online at www.visitlismore.com.au.
