Free workshops for local businesses

The Lismore Business Panel and the Lismore Chamber of Commerce & Industry are offering free business training to local businesses as part of ongoing efforts to provide post-flood support.

The workshops have been developed after extensive consultation with Lismore’s business community to ensure they are relevant for local businesses with 21st century challenges.

“The full cost of this program has been covered by the Lismore Business Panel so participation is free for all Lismore businesses,” City Centre Manager Jason Mumford said.

“We urge local businesses to take advantage of this great opportunity. From social media strategies to resilience and customer service, these workshops will provide practical advice and useful tools for success.”

Digital Engagement & Implementation – Wednesday, 27 September
Leveraging your community for business rejuvenation

  • Wowing your customers
  • Reviewing your social media strategy
  • Reviewing your website strategy
  • Reviewing your email marketing strategy

Nurturing Your Talent & Management Capabilities – Wednesday, 11 October
From business owner self-care to a culture of adaptability and support

  • Building (and maintaining) relationships with staff, suppliers and customers

  • Clarity through policies and procedures

Action Planning Working Groups – Wednesday, 25 October
A practical session of working on individual action plans for momentum and growth

Participants bring in their challenges and work with business advisors create an action plan for the next three to six months. As part of this program you will have the opportunity to work with a Business Connect Advisor for one-on-one advisory services, undertake a Business Health Check and work on specific challenges for your business.
