Community grants offered by Lismore City Council

Lismore City Council administers the Annual Community Grants Scheme and has previously administered the NSW ClubGRANTS scheme. Please note, Council no longer administers the NSW ClubGRANTS scheme. For more information on this scheme, visit the Lismore Workers Club page. The NSW ClubGRANTS scheme offers grants of up to $5000 to community groups addressing a range of social issues.

Annual Community Grants Scheme

The Annual Community Grants Scheme is open to all organisations who wish to undertake worthwhile community projects or activities in the Lismore Local Government Area.

The Annual Community Grants Scheme funding round for 2018/19 is now closed. Successful applicants were announced by Council on 19 June. The next funding round will open in April 2019.

All prospective applicants are asked to read the Annual Community Grants Scheme Policy and an example Funding Agreement. The Funding Agreement is the document your organisation would be required to sign, should you be successful in your application for a grant. The Funding Agreement for recurrent funding varies slightly.

Our Imagine Lismore Community Strategic Plan and Partnering Strategy will also help you answer the questions in the application form. Please go to our Strategic Plans page to read these documents.

Annual Community Grants Scheme 2018/19 reports

Organisations that received funding in the 2018/19 Annual Community Grants Scheme will be required to complete a report before 30 June 2019.

If you have questions regarding this process, please phone Partnering and Community Engagement Officer Kath Parry on 1300 87 83 87.
