Parking permits available for residents

The Lismore City Council offers a Resident Parking Scheme (RPS) for residents of the Lismore Base Hospital Health Precinct.

This program allows residents to apply for a permit to park in the area, which can be helpful when on-street parking is limited by time restrictions or fees, or when a property's private off-street parking is insufficient to accommodate all registered vehicles.

For more information about the RPS and to apply for a permit, please refer to the information sheet and application form provided, or contact the Lismore City Council on (02) 6625 0500.

Apply for a Trade Parking Permit

Trade Parking Permits allow tradespeople to obtain a permit for a work vehicle that exempts the vehicle from time-limited parking restrictions.

To apply for a Trade Parking Permit, you will need to provide your contact details, business name, ABN, email address, NSW Fair Trading license number, vehicle registration number, and the address of where the work is being carried out.

Permits are valid for a maximum of five consecutive working days, and once you have completed the online application, a PDF attachment with your Trade Parking Permit will be emailed to you for printing.

There are no fees for Trade Parking Permits.

To use your permit, you must print it and display it on your vehicle in accordance with the designated conditions of use.

For information and enquiries phone (02) 6625 0500 or email council@lismore.nsw.gov.au.
