Swimsations Swim School
Swimsations is a fully accredited swim school with qualified staff that teaches people of all ages at Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre and the Lismore Memorial Baths.
Our heated facilities offer high-quality Learn-to-Swim training and are registered with Swim Australia.
Classes are available from Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings. We cater for programs for babies (from six months), school term programs, adult classes, and school holiday intensive programs.
Bookings and payments for school terms must be made in advance or via direct debit, and include pool entry for the student and the supervising adult's spectator entry.

How much does it cost?
Base lesson price for Learn-to-Swim: $21.00 per lesson.
Family discounts
- First child: $21.00 per lesson
- Second child: $18.95 per lesson
- Third child: $18.95 per lesson
- Fourth and subsequent children: $10.50 per lesson

- We will invite you to come to one of our facilities, fill out an enrolment form and pick up your welcome pack and swipe card.

Pool safety
At Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre and the Lismore Memorial Baths, we prioritise the safety of children in our swim school.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a person over 16 and supervised at all times while in the pool area, either by a responsible carer or swim school staff member. This policy applies to all of our Learn-to-Swim and Stroke Development classes.
We are constantly improving our practices to ensure a child-friendly and safe environment for all children at our centres. Please adhere to this policy to ensure the safety of your children while they attend our swimming program.

Squad training
We offer high-quality squad training to help your child become the best swimmer they can be, with support and encouragement every step of the way.
We cater for children aged from toddlers to teens (based on ability), school term programs, school holiday intensive programs. Our program is registered with Swim Australia and Austswim and is available from Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.
Bookings and payments for school terms must be made in advance or via direct debit, and include pool entry for the student and the supervising adult's spectator entry.

Pool safety
At Goonellabah Sports & Aquatic Centre, we prioritise the safety of children in our swimming program.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a person over 16 and supervised at all times while in the pool area, either by a responsible carer or swim school staff member.
All children under 12 participating in squad programs must be accompanied into the pool by a responsible carer over 16, taken to their teacher at the start of the lesson and picked up from their teacher at the end of the lesson.
For one-hour and longer programs, carers are permitted to leave the pool area but must return to collect their child at the end of the lesson.
Children are not allowed to leave the pool area alone or wait outside the building to be picked up.
We are constantly working to improve our practices to ensure a child-friendly and safe environment for all children at our centre.
