Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens

Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens is an ongoing community project; first public meeting was in 1994. The site is on the southern outskirts of Lismore. Over two hectares have been planted with dry, sub tropical and riverine rainforest species. Work is proceeding on Specialty Gardens and Red Gum Forest picnic area.
They will be a great asset to the City of Lismore, attracting tourists, bird-watchers, as well as Family and educational groups. These Gardens provide a wide range of native flora and fauna, practical information as well as being a wonderful place to enjoy a rainforest walk.
